The Steps to Freedom in Christ are a guided prayer and repentance process developed by Freedom in Christ Ministries to help believers resolve spiritual and personal struggles that may hinder their growth in Christ. Rooted in biblical teaching about identity in Christ and the renewal of the mind, the process helps individuals identify areas where past experiences, sin, deception, or unresolved hurt may be affecting their relationship with God and others. Through confession, forgiveness, renunciation of lies, and affirmation of biblical truth, participants are encouraged to take responsibility for their spiritual lives and embrace the freedom Christ offers.

Stronghold-Busting is a tool used extensively in Freedom in Christ resources and teaches us to confront and defeat faulty beliefs and replace them with God’s truth - so we may live our lives free from the enemy's manipulation.  This is a core part of reclaiming our identity in Christ. 

In Corinthians, Paul talks about us having the divine power to demolish strongholds: “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ."
(2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
