The U.S. Ministry was thrilled to have our first National Family Gathering in over a decade. Approximately 190 people representing 27 States and 4 other countries met for four days at The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove near Asheville, North Carolina.
Our six main sessions featured guest speaker Steve Cuss, author of The Expectation Gap and Managing Leadership Anxiety, along with Rod Woods, Steve Goss, and Dan Studt. Neil Anderson wrapped up our time together with a final message to the ministry about how to be faithful servants. We also unveiled a new “Truths about the Holy Spirit” list of affirmations that we’re working on making available.
In our afternoon sessions, we held regional meetings, received an update on FIC's work in Africa, and celebrated a few retirements.
Overall, it was a great time of relational connection, worship, and encouragement as we saw how the Lord is at work in His Church through Freedom in Christ around the world.
